Dil Khush

A universal favourite dessert, the old-school rice pudding just got a new twist! This rich and creamy delight is loved by all due to its balanced level of sweetness, making it a comfort dessert for many.

And when this unparalleled sweetness gets combined with the essence of kesar-pista or rose water, it turns into something heavenly. We call it Dilkhush (Happy Heart) because this legendary dessert with a homely touch will definitely make your heart happy.

Rice pudding is a common dessert that is easily available globally, but everyone tweaks it in their own way. Most are well acquainted with the cardamom flavoured rice pudding, the Middle Easterns like their rice pudding sweetened with rose water, while people from the West add vanilla in it.

Since you are locked down, travelling across countries to taste different flavours of rice pudding might not be an option for you. Thus, utilizing our ‘stay at home’, we have brought life to two delicious rice puddings in my kitchen – Dilkhush – Kesar Pista and Dilkhush – Rose. Homemade with love and packed in beautiful jars, Dilkhush is made with best quality ingredients such as rice kheer, Dulce de Leche, and cheena lady fingers. Dry rose petals are added along with rose water to the Dilkhush – Rose Jar, and kesar, pista and other dry nuts to the Dilkhush-Kesar Pista Jar, stirred to perfection.

Order a jar or two, or more for yourself or for your loved ones to uplift the mood during this lockdown.
